If you live in the Richmond, Virginia area, the next GardenFest for Fidos is on January 3. The suggested $2 pet admission goes to benefit the Richmond SPCA. The lights are beautiful and it's a great reason to get out with your human and support a great cause.

Super Sparkly Saturday - GardenFest of Lights
A couple weeks ago, mom and I went to the GardenFest for Fidos at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. The GardenFest of Lights is an annual event at the garden, and on the GardenFest for Fidos nights, they allow dogs! Mom and I had never been, so we decided to check it out. The lights and decorations were amazing!

That looks really cool Garth. How nice that you got to get out and smell the flowers! My family owns a nursery with lots of plants and flowers and trees. I actually live on the same property as the nursery so I have 5 big greenhouses in my yard!

What beautiful lights and beautiful way to spend an evening!!
ReplyDeleteOh Garth, that is so beautiful! You are so lucky to be able to go and see such wonderful lights.
ReplyDeleteMommy and Daddy wanted to go to Disney because Christmas there is beautiful. But we can't leave Grandpa home with us because he forgets we're here and that causes all sorts of problems. We found someone that would have come over but her Mom (who is quite elderly) fell and broke her femur so now she can't come over to help us out. And We're NOT kennel dogs, so no doggie daycare for us.
Mommy said to tell you.... She doesn't have a clue how she missed your Parrothead post! I guess she was spending too much time in Margaritaville. She went and read it and was laughing her head off. She LOVED the fin on the top of your SUV and then to see your SUV had a twin. She said parrothead minds think alike. And the fact that they took "you" (sortof) to the concert had her crying some more. She said our families would get along great! Thanks for sharing that wonderful post with us!!
Hugs,
Lily Belle & Muffin
Spectacular!! Now that's the Christmas spirit
