The Honest Kitchen Ice Pups - Product Review

Among the many nommy things included in my Pawalla Box (see my Pawalla Box Review for more info) was a package of The Honest Kitchen Ice Pups mix.

Mom mixed it up last weekend.  All you have to do is mix the packet with 8 ounces of water then freeze it, so even momma was able to do it.  She poured it into an ice tray.  When it was frozen, it looked like this . . .

Mom said it didn't look very appetizing, but she has very strange ideas about what looks appetizing and what doesn't.

So tonight I tried my first Ice Pup.

Hmmm - what new form of nom is this?

What did I think of it?

Translation: The ice pup was EXTREMELY yummy.  It was cold (which is nice on a hot day) and crunchy (which is always good) and VERY, VERY tasty.

I give The Honest Kitchen Ice Pups my highest rating of 4 paws up because:

  • They are very yummy
  • The are made of healthy ingredients that are 100% human grade
  • They are made by a great company that does lots of good stuff, The Honest Kitchen

These are the ingredients in the Ice Pups mix

We read all about The Honest Kitchen in a little booklet that came in my Pawalla Box.

We learned that they give back to the community by selecting a Charity of the Month to receive a portion of their sales profit each month, they treat their employees well and celebrate diversity in the workplace, they take steps to minimize their environmental pawprint, and they get ingredients from as close to home as possible.  As members of Green America, they are values-driven as well as profit-driven.  This is the type of company we like to support.

But I really think I need another one
in order to fully evaluate this product

  1. I think you need at least 2 more to fully evaluate Ice Pups. I'm gonna tell mom all about them cuz it gets really hot here in NC.
