The Problem with Mermaids

Last week, mom, dad, and I went to Norfolk, Virginia.  Our hotel was right on the Elizabeth River, and we found a great place to walk near our hotel -- the Elizabeth River Trail.  The trail runs along the waterfront, and there were lots of great smells and interesting sights.  

There was only one problem.  Mermaids.  Everywhere we turned.  




Just because you think the mermaids are cool,
it doesn't mean you need to get my photo
with EVERY SINGLE MERMAID

I hope nobody sees us

    Oh Garth - I love mermaids! I even watched that documentary about mermaids that was on Animal Planet or whatever channel it was lol...

      Mom does too! That's why we had to keep interrupting our walk for photos with all the mermaids. :(

    Yeesh! Moms sure do get the keraziest ideas in their heads, don't they? But I have to admit...they were kinda pretty. And I bet they were super excited to have their picture taken with YOU!

    Mermaids?! In Virginia? I thought they only lived in warmer waters. BOL I'm sorry you had to pose with every mermaid, Garth. I say, you've seen one mermaid, you've seen them all.

    LOL Garth, mermaids are kind of creepy…everyone on Instagram (including me) saw this and liked it….kind of felt for ya buddy…but it was also very funny and cute too. Sorry (-:
