Last weekend, we hiked the Buttermilk Trail from Reedy Creek to the Boulevard Bridge and back.
There are some amazing trees along the Buttermilk Trail |
When we got to the Boulevard Bridge, we walked across, because it's such a beautiful view of the river -- a view you can't appreciate at 55 mph.
I'm not afraid of bridges |
Of course, no hike is complete without a dip in the river
and some dirt on the snout

30/30 Challenge Update
Mom and I are doing very well in the 30/30 challenge. So far we have walked well over 30 minutes every day in January, even tonight in the cold and the rain.
Oh, that looks like a great walk Garth!! I love bridges, too! And that dip in the river look awfuly refreshing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics of you dude!

Nice one Garth. We like the dip and the dirty snout. I am so lucky as I get at least 2 hours a day hunting squirrels. Have fun with your 30/30 challenge. Have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
That was a grand adventure walk. I am so envious of your swimming opportunities.
ReplyDeleteMomma only walks with me five days a week, but she says if you average things out then we're getting in our 30 per.
Kisses,
Dexter
Such a nice place to go hiking Garth! And the best part is when you can swim. Way to go Garth.

Great hike Garth & yes you're looking quite pawsome as always...looks like dat first tree was hit by lightning...it's always amazing to see how a tree can have that kind of damage and continue to live and grow
ReplyDeleteA dip in the river, dirt on the snout - and a long walk - what could be better!
ReplyDeleteI know Charlie is jealous! its to cold here to safely swim in the water!
