Buttermilk Trail & Boulevard Bridge Hike + 30/30 Challenge Update

Last weekend, we hiked the Buttermilk Trail from Reedy Creek to the Boulevard Bridge and back.

There are some amazing trees
along the Buttermilk Trail

When we got to the Boulevard Bridge, we walked across, because it's such a beautiful view of the river -- a view you can't appreciate at 55 mph.

I'm not afraid of bridges

Of course, no hike is complete without a dip in the river

and some dirt on the snout

30/30 Challenge Update

Mom and I are doing very well in the 30/30 challenge.  So far we have walked well over 30 minutes every day in January, even tonight in the cold and the rain.

  6. Nice one Garth. We like the dip and the dirty snout. I am so lucky as I get at least 2 hours a day hunting squirrels. Have fun with your 30/30 challenge. Have a super Saturday.

  7. That was a grand adventure walk. I am so envious of your swimming opportunities.

Momma only walks with me five days a week, but she says if you average things out then we're getting in our 30 per.

    Dexter

  9. Great hike Garth & yes you're looking quite pawsome as always...looks like dat first tree was hit by lightning...it's always amazing to see how a tree can have that kind of damage and continue to live and grow
