Sunday was Huguenot Bridge Day. For one day, the Virginia Department of Transportation allowed people to walk across the old Huguenot Bridge before they tear it down.
We went really early so we could enjoy the bridge before it got too hot. The sun was just coming up and the river was like glass.
that looks like fun. Wish my pawrents were younger, like yours are.

You got to write on the bridge? How cool is that!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool that they let you walk over it. I really like how you left your mark!
ReplyDeleteHey Garth!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a fun adventure! So sorry about the bridge, but it definitely looks like it's time for it to go. Love that you got to paw your name on it. That's fun!

Always sad to have to say goodbye to a bridge. Hopefully there is something really good taking its place. If it is as hot there as it is here, we bet you really would rather be IN the river instead of above it:)
ReplyDeleteWe will have a silly pic for you tomorrow. Stay tuned.

ReplyDeleteGarth what a beautiful bridge and scenery. We are so glad you and the peeps got one last walk on it. We were wondering why they were tearing it down then we saw that it was indeed showing its age.
